Why your feedback matters
TCI upholds community feedback and complaints systems so that the communities we serve can be heard. Your feedback helps us improve our programmes and stay accountable to communities, partners and stakeholders.
Who can give feedback, and about what
Anyone can give feedback or make a complaint, including community members and programme participants, partners, donors, volunteers and members of the public. You can tell us about:
- compliments, suggestions or questions about our work;
- how our programmes or assistance were delivered;
- the behaviour of TCI staff, volunteers or partners;
- suspected fraud or misuse of resources; or
- a decision that affects you and that you disagree with.
How to reach us
Use our contact form and choose "Feedback or complaint", or reach us directly:
- Email: info@tci-somalia.org
- Phone: 061 617 6069
- Office: Kismayo, Jubaland State, Somalia
You can also speak to TCI staff in person during our activities or at our office, in Somali or English. You can stay anonymous, although this can make it harder for us to follow up with you.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your feedback or complaint.
- We review it fairly and confidentially, and may contact you for more information.
- We tell you the outcome and any action we have taken.
- We record what we learn and use it to improve our work, as part of our monitoring, evaluation and learning.
Safeguarding concerns
Concerns about sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment or any other harm to a person are handled as a priority, and in confidence, under our Safeguarding Policy.
If you are not satisfied
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your complaint, you can ask for it to be reviewed by our Executive Director and, if it is still unresolved, by our Board of Directors.
Our promise to you
We will treat you with respect. Giving feedback or making a complaint will never affect your access to our programmes or assistance.
